About us

Every young person deserves a clearer pathway to what comes next.

Vision

A generation of young Nigerians making informed career decisions and building meaningful, prosperous lives.

Mission

To help young Nigerians make better-informed career decisions by connecting self-discovery, career education, skills development, coaching and real-world experience across different stages of their journey.

What we believe

  • Information matters.
  • Self-awareness matters.
  • Exposure matters.
  • Skills matter.
  • Guidance matters.
  • Careers are not linear.

How we work

Six commitments in everything we do.

Human-led

People make the decisions; technology supports them.

Physical-first

Core sessions work with a room, chairs and paper.

Digitally supported

Online tools extend our reach without excluding anyone.

Evidence-informed

We measure, learn and improve with every cohort.

Stage-appropriate

Support fits where you are, from SS1 to your first years of work.

Practical

Every decision comes with concrete next steps.

Who we are

Founded to replace guesswork with guidance.

Career Pathways Initiative was founded by Paul Olatoye, a people and development professional, on the belief that young people deserve more than guesswork when deciding their futures. It is run by a small core team and a growing network of volunteer facilitators, coaches and professionals.

Career Pathways Initiative is an initiative of Career Blueprint Partners Ltd (RC 2148703). Registered address: 20 Samuel Street, Ogudu, Lagos.
